Students the movie night is tonight at 7:00PM in the MPR to help raise money towards a service dog for a fellow classmate. The movie will be Grown Ups and the cost is only $3.00 with snacks available. Hope to see you all come and support a fellow Bloodhound! If you would like to make a donation to the cause you can see Mrs. Jones in the front office.
Attention FMHS Students! Key Club is hosting a PAWS Drive next week, April 18th through April 22nd. We will be collecting a variety of items to donate and money is always accepted! On Friday, April 22nd you can donate a dollar to PAWS to wear a hat at school. To get your hat approved see Mrs. Kohl or Mrs. Johnstun (room 305). See flyers for more details on this event!
Seniors if you have free blocks here are some opportunities to volunteer in your community. The Fort Madison Public Library is in need of 1-2 volunteers on Wednesday mornings from 10:30-11:30 for the children reading program. The Madison is looking for 1-2 volunteers on Wednesday afternoons at 2:30 for Bingo. Freshman the Lee County economic Development Group is offering scholarships for the KidTek summer classes at SCC. This year they are offering advanced classes for students in grades 7-9. Information about these classes has been sent to your school email along with an application.
Seniors several scholarships are due today. Make sure you get them turned in on time.
Iowa Wesleyan will have a representative here on Tuesday, April 19th during B lunch. If you would like to learn more about Iowa Wesleyan then stop by the table in the lunch room and speak with them.
Ladies who are 16! Would you like to meet new people, make new friend and act as an official Old Threshers Reunion Hostess? Then you should compete in the Old Threshers Reunion Miss Sweet 16 pageant. There will be an information meeting on Saturday, June 4th at 2:00PM. For more information call 319-385-8937.
