Students interested in programming and creating aps the Second Annual congressional App Challenge is here. This nationwide event is intended to engage students’ creativity and encourage their participation in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields, which play an important role in our 21st Century economy. Students all schedule changes must be finalized today. Make sure to check your schedule on your Powerschool account. Stop in the guidance office if you need to make any changes.
Seniors, your senior photos are due to yearbook by December 5. Please turn photos into Mrs. Slifer or have the digital copy emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
This year’s yearbook is asking for a favor. Our theme this year is “Selfie”, and we want everyone to submit them during the year. We, specifically, want each student to send in their “best” selfie, so we can use it on the cover! Please send your selfies to the following number: 909-493-7353. Again we will be taking the best selfies to use on our cover. Pictures need to be school appropriate and don’t forget to purchase this year’s yearbook! The FMHS Library is having a Book Fair until December 3rd to raise money to buy books. We will be open the entire school day and on December 3rd, we will also be open during the wrestling meet from 6:00-8:00 PM. We are offering free Christmas gift wrapping with any purchase. Also during this time, coffee from Roxy’s Cafe will be available. Those who purchase $10 or more in books will receive a coupon for a cup of cappuccino or coffee at half price.
